The Champion Challenge Day #1

Don’t ruin a good day today by thinking of a bad day yesterday. LET IT GO! “

Champions rarely talk, They just perform and the world around them talks.”

Today is the first day of our Champion Challenge and it started off pretty good today. I woke up feeling semi refreshed gave thanks and made some coffee. Of course we have to say hi to Elvis and give him some love and some fresh water. Elvis is the families 18 year old cat. He is so wise.

Even though Elvis is wise he still likes to sun himself and he burns his poor little nose all the time.

Spent about 30 minutes with my husband before he left for work and then once he was on the road I too hit the road for my morning warm up walk. On my walk is were I like to prioritize my day.

I feel like Dora the explorer with my little back pack. lol It comes in handy though. I keep my journal, water bottle, and some sun screen it and it also comes in handy as some place to sit if I want to meditate.

Today while I was walking I decided to meditate outside before it gets too hot. It has been in the hundreds here and today is supposed to be around 104 degrees.

Meditating out side brings me closer to God everyday. I feel like when we are quiet we can hear the Universe speaking to us more clearly.

I made my way back home and got on the stationary bike for 1 hour while I listened to some motivational videos. Drenched in sweat I started my work out with consisted of 2x sets of 50 crunches, 50 squats, 50 lunges, 50 jumping jacks, 50 push ups, and 50 calf raises.

Sometimes we are tested not to show our weaknesses, but to discover our strengths.

After all that shenanigans I got ready for the day and began to paint. I have a painting that changes are being made to and I worked on that for a few hours.

The back ground of this painting needs to be finished so I can mail it off next week.

We always have lunch by around 1 pm and today was no different. After lunch I read for around 30 minutes and then I had Italian class for 2 hours. Tomorrow I’ll include a photo of what we have for lunch.

Fun fact: I really have a hard time finding a book that grabs my attention. If the book doesn’t play out like a movie in my mind, I don’t want it. I am currently reading “A Room with a View” and I am only on chapter 2 but fingers crossed that it grabs my attention. What are you currently reading?

The more difficult the victory, the greater the happiness in winning.”

  1. AKA you are a wonderful person. I would love to join you for your morning walks and meditation. I did my own work out today. Yoga and meditation. I did start my day with gratitude like you suggested 😌. I accomplished my three tasks for my future dreams and I accomplished my day to day tasks. I feel motivated and empowered today and I thank you for the inspiration.

    1. I wish she could start a live video and we could all join her on her morning walks. That’s something to think about in the future AKA.

      1. Yeeesss πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» I would sign up for a live morning walk with AKA every day. What a cute name for it , morning walks with AKA. Lmao πŸ˜‚

  2. Day 1 and I feel like I’m going to have a breakthrough at work. I started a workout routine today and even though my body is crying I feel like I have done everything I set out to to today. I even helped a old woman who had a flat tire. I found myself being more focused on helping others and less stressed about my own life.

  3. I love your hair style. Lol your back pack is cute and I bring my Dora the explorer backpack with me almost every where i go. Your painting is phenomenal girl 😍 you are very skilled. Your list is intimidating you accomplished so much. I feel close to God as well when I am in nature. Thanks for letting us share this journey with you. You are a blessing!

    1. She is like the friend who is a overachiever and still doesn’t think she does enough. Rofl. Her list for just today was a list for two weeks for me. I can imagine how much she accomplishes in a week. I’m exhausted just thinking about it 🐱 lol

  4. Dear AKA oh how bright you shine! You may not realize it yet but you are such a pure light for myself and others πŸ’•. You are shorter than I imagined you to be.rofl and I love the color of your skin. You keep up the good work! I started my stretching today and I walked around the block for the first time in three years. I don’t have anything to say thanks for each day but I respect those who do. I accomplished 1 of my three tasks for the day so far. Your inspiration quotes are the cutest and so are you.

  5. I didn’t mention how sweet your cat Elvis is πŸ™‚πŸ’– he more than likely falls asleep in the sun and his nose suffers for it lol lol your painting of the hands is spectacular AKA. you are spectacular and don’t ever let anyone tell you differently.
