The Champion Challenge Day # 31 ” Getting on our Grind , Making Pain Our Friend! “

Hey Friends! Today is a first day of our challenge how is everyone doing today? Some of you have been asking why don’t I just go relax when my husband is at work, lay on the beach and work on my tan. I hear you guys.. Lol but the thing is there are things that need to be done and I’m busy working on my goals and dreams. Laying in the sun working on my tan all day long isn’t going to pay my the bills, it isn’t going to get me the body that I want, and it isn’t going to push me to grow. We make time for relaxing and fun don’t you worry but right now I’m getting on my grind! Lol

Today was another lazy day in which we slept in, gave Thanks, went for breakfast, ran some errands and came back for some rest. We gave each other a kiss and he started his work at the restaurant and I started mine. Cleaning was my first task to tackle, I don’t know how two grown adults can make such a cluttered disaster in one night but we do. Lol Slow moving all day due to sore muscles from increasing my work out. It was a good kind of hurt because I knew that it means Iam working my body and it is supposed to hurt before it can improve.

Did some laundry after I cleaned up then I started on sending some emails, answers emails, making calls, working out, stretching, meditation, work related tasks and I made minestrone. Keep in mind we are not at home we are still in Nardo and we didn’t have ALL the ingredients but we made do and it turned out great! While I was doing all these things I was feeling how sore my body is and it got me thinking. Pain is really our friend, even in our own bodies if we stay in our comfort zones and don’t push our bodies to do more it hurts us.

Which brings me to today’s topic…we should be celebrating pain.. Each time we push ourselves and we feel sore for awhile it goes away but it is then that we have to push ourselves even harder so we can experience the pain again and improve. ” Stop praying that the storm with pass over us and start praying that we will grow through the storm. “

All of us in our lives have experienced set backs, trials, and struggling. No matter what our struggles have been we have always had two choices. We can be unforgiving, bitter, angry, upset, and be a carrier of grief or we can choose RESILIENCE. Either way we choose the road is not easy.

It’s not easy to carry all that anger, bitterness and grief around and at the end of the day we end up with nothing good to show for all our pain. If we choose resilience we still experience pain because we have to heal but at the end of the day we have something great to show from all our pain.

We have all done the whole angry, bitter and carrying our grief at one time or another but I want to know what it feels like to be free and the best version of me. Don’t you guys want to feel what it’s like to be the best versions of yourselves too? I’m so excited that I’m actually hungry for it.

I’ve never given myself permission to be the best version of myself before and honestly I wasn’t aware I even could. Lol Personally I was stuck in the unforgiving, bitter, angry and carrying my grief around but it was breaking my back, mind, body, and spirit. If I stayed on this path I would always be in pain.

So I had to choose, what kind of pain do I want to endure. The pain that was slowly killing my spirit or the pain that I can grow from? When I discovered I had a choice I chose the pain I can grow from and I really hope you guys do too.

If we choose to stay in our grief, anger, unforgiving and bitter we can never really experience the beauty of this world. How beautiful it is to achieve success no matter how big or small. If we choose the pain from growing we can begin to experience life in a new more hopeful and beautiful way.

We can finally get to see who the best versions of ourselves can be! Today my intentions were as follows:

    1. I am on the same page friend but AKA is right either way we experience pain. We might as well experience pain that makes us better verses pain that destroys us.

  2. I can tell you this, I like AKA’s perspective on this. If we are going to struggle and go through pain anyways we might as well make it productive instead of destructive. Aye girl! Much love sent your way. Thank you for the wonderful post 📯
