Hey Friends! I hope you guys are in good health and having a blessed day! I don’t even have to ask I know you guys are doing you’r champion challenge goals and it makes my heart so happy!
Today I am feeling like I got hit by a big Mac Truck. My tummy hurts, my body hurts and I am not fully sure if I have a little cold or flu situation going on or what it is. Needless to say I am not going to be doing my work out today.
It will be my first day in 50 days ( other than Sundays ) where I haven’t been on my grind and doing my work outs and Champion Challenge goals. Especially when we are sick we need to take a pause and listen to our bodies and that’s ok.
Today instead of going through a list of everything I didn’t accomplish due to this ratchet feeling of sickness in my body, we will discuss a topic from an email that I received from a frequent reader of my blog.

The topic for today is how to deal with the haters in our family and friendships when we start to make healthy changes in our lives. Making healthy choices can be hard enough without having to deal with the eye rolls or side eyes from others. Especially from our loved ones and friends.
Let’s remember that alot of these haters are just misinformed and who are probably feeling insecure about their own health related decisions. First, take a pause to consider if they actually have a solid point.
All healthy lifestyles need balance. But, if your healthy lifestyle choices are sound, then stick to you’r guns with grace of course. You are the one who is in charge of you’r body and if you feel like not drinking alcohol at parties, or going to your favorite food truck to splurge on that delicious burger that is dripping with grease then I give you full permission to not do said activity.

As for friends and family putting you down, telling you you’r acting different, or commenting on you’r work outs you get in before work. You know what … just let them talk. They will either come around as they see how much healthier and happier you are OR…they wont.
At the end of the day we aren’t out here bettering ourselves to get approval from anyone. Sometimes as we change our habits and switch up to healthier lifestyles SOME people just are not in the head space to be happy for us. Period

And you know what? That’s ok too. Sure it hurts our little feelings and we might feel like we are losing friends or close relationships but we don’t need those type of relationships or people in our lives you guys.
Eventually we will begin to attract people who are like minded and supportive. Until then though stay on your grind. Keep making yourself the best version of you. It’s not us against them we are trying to be our best selves… It’s US against US!

We are flowers and we are BLOOMING BABY! Anyone who truly loves us and has our best interest at heart will stand by our side. Let the other people fade into the back ground until they are ready to change their perspective.

Thank you so much for joining me on the champion challenge. Please feel free to like, comment and subscribe and until next time stay Blessed and Inspired. Love you guy!

Do all you do to the glory of God. It is important that we take care of ourselves and it’s okay not to be 100% every day… we are all perfectly imperfect.
