Champion Challenge Day # 57 ” Getting Our ISH Together! “

Hey Friends! I hope peace is upon you, around you and especially within you! Today started per usual giving Thanks, giving Elvis love and some breakfast, then Elvis sat with me as I drank my coffee.

We watched and listened to the birds as they fluttered around chirping to each other and taking turns in the bird bath. Then as everyone began to wake up we said buongiorno and had a bite to eat before we all got started on our day

No sun today she is hiding behind the clouds but the clouds look like they are thinking about sending some rain our way. Yet, it is a beautiful day in the same way because on rainy days there is a natural rhythm happening outside. Some say rainy days are natures fresh start.

Stretching first I then went on my morning warm up walk. The air was crisp this morning, I put on my headphones and time flew by as I listened to some music and some motivational videos.

The rain had not started yet it was fresh with a nice breeze. I had Queen’s song ” Don’t stop me now” up full volume in my headphones. Wind blowing in my hair, every step on beat with the music and basically I was feeling like I was a main character in a Rocky movie.

On my walk I pass by the same tree I always pass. The tree in a long line of other trees on the edge of a field with a Rosary hanging from it. When you first see the row of trees my tree doesn’t stand out from the rest.

While you are walking next to the trees my tress isn’t the tallest or the shortest, or the fullest tree. But there is something special about this tree. This tree has captured my attention since the first time I passed it over a year ago and discovered the Rosary hanging from it.

Well today was different then all of the other days. Today there is a little toy soldier figurine with the Rosary beads around him. It wasn’t there yesterday. So it seems I am not the only one who walks past this tree and thinks it is special.

After that was finished I got on the stationary bike and did better today time wise and I was pleased with that.Then I did my work out, meditation and a quick stretch again so make sure I wasn’t too sore tomorrow. Can I just tell you that as I was walking up and down the stairs today I had jello for legs after the bike and my workouts my legs were officially done.

Jumped in the shower and got ready for the day. Immediately I started with my daily work and blog tasks. I haven’t been as tired as I was for the past two months after my work outs and I am so happy about this. Results are coming slowly but surely!

Still no six pack but now I can see some toning of my muscles going on and I know if I continue more results will come. I don’t want to hold myself back anymore by allowing myself to make excuses and I don’t want you guys to do it either.

This was a break through moment for me, realizing that Yes bad things happen to us but if we use those things as an excuse to not grow and be the best versions of ourselves then we now are the ones holding ourselves back.

It truly does require us to take an honest look at ourselves, take responsibility for who we are and then make a commitment to who and what we want to be. Excepting no excuses because we don’t have time for excuses! It is Us against US, the only person, place and thing we can control is us.

We need to put one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward. Trying our best to stay in the moment, focusing on one step at a time if we have to. But each step forward we take gets us closer to achieving our goals and dreams. Becoming better versions of ourselves then yesterday and even better tomorrow!
