Hey Friends! May this post find you with Peace upon you, around you and especially within you! This morning is our second day back home. We started per usual, giving Thanks, coffee, giving Elvis his breakfast & some much needed love, saying buongiorno to everyone as they got up.
We had our coffee as everyone ran around getting ready for their day. Me and my husband kissed each other before going our separate ways to do our champion stuff. I went on a morning warm up walk this morning and it was beautiful.
The sun was shining off of the dew on everything. Isn´t it funny how being in nature can change our perspectives and how we can walk the same way everyday yet still always see something new or in a different light?

After my walk I had some yogurt and granola. Jumped into some stretching and meditation. My body was in desperate need of stretching. My back was so tight someone could have tapped me on my back and I probably would have snapped a muscle.
I took my time with the stretches and tried to focus on each muscle to help me stay in the moment. During meditation I do a lot of talking to God. Recently I have been trying to also stay silent and just listen as well.

The stationary bike was a great feeling this morning surprisingly. I rode for 30 minutes then jumped into my workout and Pilates. Which did indeed kick my a**. Itś ok though… ¨ After we do, We Pursue!¨
Did some journaling and made my to do list for the day before I got in the shower and ready for the day. I have been hearing a lot lately about the health benefits of taking a cold bath or shower.

It all sounds great except the whole staying in freezing cold water thing. That being said and in the spirit of ¨ stepping out of our comfort zones ¨ I am going to do this every other day for two weeks starting tomorrow. Will I like it? NO!
I can say without hesitation that it most definitely will absolutely suck big time! However .. it is a way to step out of my comfort zone and it comes with health benefits. In theory I will have a stronger immune system and blah blah blah.
I will keep you updated on the torture, I mean experience and if any of you are crazy enough to join me please feel free to let me know your experience in the comments below.

Today´s food for thought something we have talked about before, stepping out of our comfort zones. Today´s topic is inspired by our little family adventure. Let´s start from the beginning shall we?
Last Monday we had a family member watch over Elvis . He was in good hands and we knew he would be safe, warm and fed. We all jumped in the car and drove 7 hours to go visit some of my husbands family.

Along the way we saw many beautiful landscapes, architecture, hills, mountains like in a fairy tale. Halfway through our drive we stopped and ate at a restaurant by the sea. I didn´t realize it then but this was the beginning of a week long food fest that I was not prepared for.

I mean I was warned by more then one person who told me to prepare myself for a lot of really good food and meeting a lot of different family members. Yet how do you prepare yourself for something that you could not imagine.
We went to many different family members homes which were all adorable in their own ways. Each home had a fireplace that was always going and the houses were cozy and warm.

In each home was many different family members some of them grew up with my husbands parents. They were all waiting to see my husband and his parents and to meet me for the first time. No pressure right?!
At each house we ate some of the most delicious foods I have ever had. Each family had their own wine they made so we left each house full to the top from food & love. Also a little bit buzzed from the wine.

It was such a wonderful experience to see and hear everyone laughing and talking together. There was so much love in each house we visited that it made it easier for my anxiety to go away. Before I knew what was happening I was laughing and truly enjoying myself as well.
I am going to do a post on the experience because it truly was one of the best experiences of my life. But it would not have been possible if their were not still good humans in the world and I didn´t allow myself to first step out of my comfort zone. Then to allow myself to focus on each moment and give my anxiety to God.

It can be easy when traveling to allow ourselves to become ungrounded because we are attaching our being grounded to something or some ritual when really we are grounded in God. Some call it grounded in the universe or grounded in their higher power.
When we are grounded through God we can respond to each new situation and person with love. Without having the overwhelming anxiety when surrounded by new people or places. This is a big WIN for me personally.

Thanks for joining us in our Champion Challenge today! Please feel free to like comment and subscribe and until next time friends, Much Love!

Yeah man when she talks about things like that it gets to me as well. Gets me thinking what all has happened to her to have her be so grateful for the basic acts of love and kindness. She should have always been protected from the world because she is one of those kind hearted pure souled people who need protection.
