Champion Challenge ” Re-parenting Ourselves”

Hey Friends! I hope this post finds you with Peace upon you, around you and especially within you! Today started as always with giving Thanks, stumbling downstairs to start the coffee, give Elvis his breakfast and some good morning love.

We say Buongiorno to everyone as the wake up and we all get started on our day. My husband has had some time off since the Christmas holidays.

He is so used to his crazy work hours and the rush of caos that surrounds him every day that he doesn’t know what to do with himself now after he has had a few weeks off.

He and Elvis have been chilling together and I think Elvis likes this time with him. Elvis has been feeling like a Lion these days. Today the sun is out and this means Elvis will be out. He loves to lay in the leaves in the sun.

As for me, I did my Meditation, stretching, and workout. I chose Chloe Ting today as my work out and as always she does not disappoint.

Take a look at this Margarita Flower guy’s. It is the European Daisy and in Norse mythology it is known as the sacred flower for the Goddess of Love, Beauty and Fertility.

They symbolise child birth, mother hood and new beginnings. Here in Italy I can see them all year long. Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer of course.

I love them because even though they are tiny and cute they are also tuff and durable. Through rain, wind, frost and snow they can be found still thriving and strong.

Re-parenting Ourselves Week #1 Day #2

After my work out I applied some olive oil to my scalp and hair let it sit for awhile before I shower. Taking care of our hair and scalp is part pf us getting grounded and forming our strong roots.

We are litterally nuturing the roots of our hair and scalp so that our hair will grow stronger, thicker, longer and shinier. This leads me to this weeks focus of Re-parenting ourselves.

Let’s focus today on making good choices for ourselves. We can take it a day at a time and say Today I will show myself some love, be kind to myself and take care of myself.

This is a big part of learning how to have love for ourselves. Taking care of our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well being.

Our inner voice

It is said that our Mothers voice or the Mother figure in your life’s voice becomes our inner dialogue to ourselves. Lord Jesus take the wheel some of us are going to need more work then others.

So for instance, if we had a mother was not kind or loving to us more than likely we will not be kind or loving to ourselves.

This is where some re-programming comes in with our affirmations, journaling, and meditations. Also I have a cute little challenge for you guys for this week.

Anytime we start to notice our internal dialoge going in the harsh, negative direction. Let’s stop for a second and say three things that are positive about ourselves.

Affirmation for today

” I’am Safe ” …” The people I love, Love me too.”

Gut Health

We know everything starts in our guts. They say our mental health and emotions as well as our physical well being all starts with our gut health.

Since we are deepening our roots and starting from within talking about our gut health is important. Ok so now that we know what can we do? I got you covered with a few suggestions.

To get started we need to pay more attention to what we are putting in our bodies. Our bodies are not trash cans we have to take care of them and give them what they need to thrive not just barely survive.

Some people take better care of their cars or trucks then they do their own bodies. They will put only the best fuel in their cars but feed themselves trash and still expect their bodies to function at optimal performance levels.

Foods we can eat to help get our guts back on track are

  • apples
  • ginger
  • garlic
  • sauerkraut
  • kefir
  • peas
  • kimchi
  • miso
  • greek yoghurt
  • bananas
  • almonds
  • leeks
  • oats
  • olive oil

Foods we should avoid

  • Processed junk foods
  • alcohol
  • artificial sweeteners
  • sugary beverages
  • glutens

Daily habits that destroy our gut health

  • Poor sleep
  • alcohol consumption
  • And inactivity

Healing Bone Broth

  • 1 Medium Onion Chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Minced Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Tbsp Sea Salt
  • 4 Bay Leaves
  • 2Kg Mixed Bones
  • 3 Carrots quartered
  • 2 Celery

Let’s focus on our Gratitude, being a good parent to ourselves, being kind to ourselves and of course others. We will just take it slow, one day at a time but today we will make better healthier choices for ourselves.

Just a little reminder that You are doing Fantastic and look how far we have come! I am PROUD of YOU and a great BIG HUG from ME to YOU!

Thank You for joining us today in our Champion Challenge! Please feel free to like Comment and subscribe and until next time make good choices.

  1. A good broth is a miracle worker 😊 for myself it is my mother’s voice that makes me want to scream. She was so full of fear, hate and she never had a kind words to say about anyone. You are fundamentally correct AKA for us to continue to grow we must heal from the inside out. Physically mentally and emotionally. To do so we must first build trust within ourselves that we do love ourselves enough to make good choices for ourselves. Taking it one day at a time is smart this way we don’t get overwhelmed. Well done my fare lady!

  2. Damn I do love myself a good bone broth. Good to know it helps heal our stomachs. Everything in moderation is my moto. I have no complaints with my mom and how she raised me. In my family it was our father who was the negative attitude no matter what happened he would point out the negative in everything. Now I do the same fucking things. Reprogramming is needed AKA ☠️ thanks for your time and wonderful post’s. This community has been a life saver. Love you
