Hey Friends! Today we are going to do our very best to be our very best selves. Remember this doesn’t mean being perfect, it simply means doing better then we did yesterday. We got this! This morning we woke up to a hot muggy day, the sun is unrelenting. We gave our Thanks, said Buongiorno to everyone and we discovered today is the 70th birthday of a friend of ours. Buon Compleanno Egle! She is one of the angels on this earth and we plan to celebrate her tonight.
We got coffee ate a bite for breakfast and ran our errands. Today is going to be a busy day for both of us, there is a lot to do. For my husband he will be very busy tonight at the restaurant and for me I have many upcoming blog posts to prepare for, italian school, and some photos for the painting series Iam going to start in the next few days.
This leads me to today’s thoughts. All day long I was thinking about two things how being in our comfort zones hurts us and how to better my productivity while still keeping myself motivated without burning out. I’ll do a second post on how our comfort zones hurt us and here we are going to discuss thinking about our lives as a video game.
I’m not a big gamer but I have dabbled in playing games from time to time. Enough to know that in games we play we have a quest or mission to accomplish but to get there we have to make it past several different levels with different goals to accomplish on each level. On each level there is something new to look forward to accomplishing and experiencing. Games give us the hit of dopamine that our daily lives no longer give us.
Each day most of us in some way or another do pretty much the same things and if we do get challenged we get overwhelmed by them. In theory if we challenge ourselves each day even in doing our mondane tasks we will get a little bit more enjoyment out of them. For example some people put timers on while they are cleaning trying to beat the time from the day before. Some people get exercise while cleaning because they dance while they are cleaning. You get the idea.

So… For myself I’am going to begin pushing myself out of my comfort zone a little bit everyday more. I’m going to use the example of the lady who times herself while cleaning and doing her mondane tasks and I’m going to set my intentions each day to include focusing on self love. We can’t really love anyone else if we don’t first love ourselves. I’m finishes with my whining about how hard everything is phase and now I’m onto Buckle up Buttercup and just get it done 5-4-3-2-1 phase! These are the principles we will incorporate into our next challenge starting in a few days if you are interesting in joining.

In games they start us off with the easier missions with easier levels first right? So I’m going to continue to push myself but with realistic goals for the days, weeks and months that will lead up to what my goals are that I’m working towards. Focusing on consistency. They say they key is to add challenge to the mondane tasks while stepping out of your comfort zone a little more everyday. Set realistic goals each day for yourself allowing time for self reflection which ultimately leads to self love. I was unrealistic in thinking I was going to somehow see visual immediate results from a month of working out, I was unrealistic to think that life wouldn’t happen to me while I’m working on being more consistent to test me.
My husband amazes me and I know I’ve talked about it before but i’m going to talk about it again. Lol The way he works so hard and how he pushes himself each day to create something new or add something to make a dish taste better. The way he has grown to speak his mind without freaking out, the way he speaks his mind no matter who’s around without a real care about what they will think about it. In some ways he has a freedom that I don’t have yet,

Let’s say since we are thinking of our lives like a game that he is levels ahead of me on many things. He is one of the people in my life that I learn from every day. If I can be more like him when I grow up I will be ok in life. ( Lol ) Today my intentions are as follows:
- Give Thanks ( Done )
- Errands ( Done )
- Work out ( Done )
- Meditate ( Done )
- Stretch ( Done )
- Blog related tasks ( Done )
- Take photos for painting series ( Hopefully tonight if not tomorrow )
- Clean ( Done )
- Birthday dinner ( Tonight )
- Photos and light interview for the blog post in Assassins of Flavor

Each day I feel as if I work on myself in grow in certian areas and also each day a new realization comes to me in regards to a new area in my life that I need to grow in as well. I’ve gotten better in many areas of my life and accomplished things that I never thought possible. God knew what he was doing when he put certian people in my life, these people have helped me grow and for the first time in my life really thrive.
I have a good support system now with people who are both near and far Fede I’m talking to you. Lol My husband is one of these people we are similar enough to understand each other and different enough to help each other grow. Are we perfect? … No of course not, do we get on each others nerves sometimes? … Yes definitely but at the end of the day there is no one else that I would rather go through this thing called life with.

Thank you for joining me in the Champion Challenge! Please feel free to like, comment and subscribe and until next time stay Inspired and blessed.
Great thought, I will use this to have a productive Saturday tomorrow. On my Mission I will complete levels and then will level up. Thank you, this is just the motivation that is needed😊
